EXIM Thailand Discusses Ways to Support Thai Export of

Agricultural Machinery to Republic of Ghana  

Ms. Draswan Choowong, Executive Vice President, Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), welcomed Mr. Yaw Frimpong Addo, Deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture of the Republic of Ghana; Mrs. Florence Akonor, High Commissioner of the Republic of Ghana to the Federation of Malaysia; and Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong, Founder and Executive Chairman of the Jospong Group of Companies which is one of the holding companies engaging in production and service provision in waste management, technology and banking in Africa and Asia, at EXIM Thailand’s Head Office on March 15, 2023 to discuss progress of the projects on import of agricultural technology and mechanical equipment to Ghana from Thailand. The collaboration aims to boost efficiency in and output of rice and other farm produce in the Republic of Ghana to serve domestic consumption and export to African and Asian markets.
