แอป CIMB THAI นำหนึ่งก้าวด้านความปลอดภัย ออกฟีเจอร์ใหม่ App Lock ล็อกทั้งแอป
8 ก.ย. 2568 นายตัน คีท จิน รองกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ ธุรกิจรายย่อย ธนาคาร ซีไอเอ็มบี ไทย เปิดเผยว่า ปัจจุบันแอปธนาคารหลายแห่งมีฟีเจอร์ Money Lock ปิด/เปิดบางธุรกรรม ล็อกไม่ให้โอนเงินออกเพื่อเพิ่มความปลอดภัย ล่าสุด CIMB THAI เป็นธนาคารแรกที่เพิ่มฟีเจอร์ใหม่ App Lock ล็อกทั้งแอป เป็นการล็อกการเข้าใช้งานแอปชั่วคราวให้ไม่สามารถโอนเงิน-ชำระเงิน-เติมเงิน รวมถึงบริการอื่น ๆ ผ่านแอปได้ เพิ่มความปลอดภัยขั้นสุด แต่ยังสามารถรับโอนเงินได้
ฟีเจอร์นี้เหมาะกับบัญชีเก็บออมวงเงินสูงที่ไม่ค่อยทำธุรกรรม หรือกรณีเป็นบัญชีใช้จ่ายประจำวัน แต่ลูกค้าอยู่ในช่วงจังหวะเวลาที่ต้องการเพิ่มความปลอดภัยขั้นสุด หรือต้องการป้องกันการใช้งานแอปโดยไม่ได้รับอนุญาต เช่น บุคคลอื่นยืมมือถือ, มือถือหาย, ลูกหลานหรือผู้สูงอายุกดผิด, อยากลดความเสี่ยงจากมิจฉาชีพทั้ง Hacker และ Remoter และเพิ่มความเป็นส่วนตัวในการใช้แอป
CIMB THAI ปักธงเป็นธนาคารที่ ส่งเสริมความก้าวหน้าให้ลูกค้าพร้อมสร้างคุณค่าให้สังคม (Advancing Customers and Society) เรามุ่งพัฒนาความปลอดภัยของธุรกรรมการเงินให้ตอบโจทย์การใช้งานของลูกค้า จึงได้ออกฟีเจอร์นี้มาเป็นทางเลือก ให้ลูกค้าปิดแอปได้ชั่วคราว และเปิดใหม่ได้เมื่อต้องการ หากต้องการปิดบางธุรกรรม สามารถเลือกโหมด Money Lock หากต้องการล็อกทุกเลเวลเลือก App Lock เตรียมความพร้อมรับภัยไซเบอร์ที่พัฒนาขึ้นเรื่อยๆ และยังช่วยผู้สูงอายุ หรือผู้ไม่ถนัดเทคโนโลยีอีกด้วย นายตัน คีท จิน กล่าว
สำหรับขั้นตอน App Lock ล็อกทั้งแอปไม่ยุ่งยาก ใช้เวลาไม่ถึง 3 นาที เพียงกดเข้าแอป CIMB THAI เลือกตั้งค่า กดเมนู ล็อกการใช้งานแอปพลิเคชัน หลังจากนั้นทำการยืนยันตัวตนด้วยการสแกนใบหน้า ยืนยันเบอร์โทรศัพท์ และตามด้วยป้อนรหัสผ่าน หลังจากนั้นแอปจะทำการล็อกชั่วคราว และเมื่อลูกค้าต้องการปลดล็อก เพียงติดต่อ CIMB THAI Care Center 02 626 7777 ไม่จำเป็นต้องเดินทางไปสาขา เรียกได้ว่าสะดวกสบายกว่า เพิ่มความปลอดภัยได้ตามต้องการ
CIMB THAI App Takes a Step Forward in Security with New App Lock Feature
Mr. Tan Keat Jin, Senior Executive Vice President, Head Consumer Banking at CIMB THAI Bank, revealed that while many banking apps currently provide a 'Money Lock' feature, which allows users to block or enable specific transactions for added security, CIMB THAI has become the first bank to launch App Lock, a more advance security feature.
This feature is particularly suitable for high-balance savings accounts with minimal transactions, or accounts which customers wish to maximize security for a certain period. It also helps prevent unauthorized access in situations such as mobile phone being used by others, lost or stolen mobile device, accidental access by children or the elderly, or hackers and remote access threats. This could increase privacy in mobile banking usage.

This new feature offers customers more options: they can temporarily lock the app and reopen it on demand. If they wish to block only certain transactions, they may use the Money Lock mode. For full protection at highest level, they can choose App Lock. This could help mitigate the risks against increasingly sophisticated cyber threats and protect vulnerable users, e.g. the elderly or those less familiar with technology.
Activating the App Lock feature is quick and simple, taking less than three minutes. Customers only need to open the CIMB THAI app, go to Settings, and select Lock Application Usage. They then verify their identity by performing facial recognition, confirming their phone number, and entering their password. The app will then be temporarily locked. When customers wish to unlock, they can simply contact CIMB Thai Care Center at 02 626 7777 without the need to visit a branch, ensuring convenience and enhanced security as desired.
